Spam Bots For Humanity

IS there not a sensible way to go against spam using the bots.
I mean most of all the SPAM I get is usually the same, coming from emails that normally no person would ever use.
You could block the IP
Something,
Help me out here.....

You could try and create a filter that puts all the e-mails from a particular e-mail address into the Trash or Deleted Items. But other than that, I can see no other alternative. Except if you want to tell Google about this and request them to stop all e-mails from a particular e-mail address, which is rather unlikely.

But if SPAMing is illegal, then anyone that does should automatically be blocked.br
But I see what you mean that any mail from anywhere could be anything, therefore hard to stop.br
br
But if a bot got good enough through multiple training on standard
formats then it could as a human know if it were spam or not by the
title or by the content.br
br
or?....br

It's not that easy to stop spam ! In fact Google's spam engine is pretty good in this job.
You can't block an IP, neither an address because a spammer is always changing is address and ip obviously.
SPAM filter are based on mathematical statistics. Most of them learn from a bunch of mails (like a thousand of spam mails and a thousand of normal mails) and build arrays of the word present in those mails to finally build a big hash table that says (using mathematical formulas) : "This word in x% of the cases is in a spam mail". When a new mail arrives, it calculate a score which is the probability that the mail is a spam and react accordingly.
Then the important is to train the engine saying "This is a spam" when it didn't recognised one, and the contrary when it put a regular mail in your spam folder.

SpaM

Yeah Right, know googles is pretty, good but thats why I was thinking that there must be a way for a google bot to attach all those sites or the same ads (like the enlargement and viagra stuff), within the text of the mail. know what I mean.

But I see what you mean as well that sometimes I might send something like this to a mate just for a laugh.

Maybe we just have to gang up on the Sp@m€rz, and spam them back.

Yeah that's what we should do ... If only we could catch them up ! That's what some companies use to do when they were spammed by fax : sending back always the same "Fuck off" (or whatever it said) written in white on a black background so it didn't cost anything to the company but to the spammer ... Sad that we can't do anything like that with mails ...

SpAm

I know.br
It has to be these companies that say you can earn 800+ per week from
your own home. Just register and find out and then if it turns out that
that is what the company does then go against them.br
Have you seen the long emails that say "send this to 10 of your frinds
and you will win a prize", or the CD's you can buy with 1 million
emails, and stuff like that.br
This is what I am saying, google bots will be able to find all of
these people on the net simply by looking for threads that are
common. br

1.2.3

Wouldn't it then be possible for all those spam lists that are already there just to be updated by SPAMbots.

Or better yet, all email addresses could be like in a George Orwell type of fashion be pinned to actual people and not fake IP's and silly nicknames.

Isn't there a way to make the Internet a more beautiful world?

Filter out everything from people you don't have.
