adding a .GIF as your signature automatically in Gmail ?

as many of you, i created (on some website ages ago) the .GIF that was your [email]address@gmail.com[/url]brit's really cool, and i'd like to add it to my signature.bri know this should be possible with some HTML and maybe javascript.bri have the .GIF hosted on my server, so i should be able to (in my signature) ass something like br<img src="ftp://xxx.xx.xx.x.filename.gif">brbut this doesn't workbrany ideas ?br

I'm pretty sure that Gmail allows only text for signatures.
I see that they allow you to upload and include a 'photo' with your emails. Maybe you could use that.

i didn't think you could include them as part of the email though

I'm not really sure how it works. I just noticed the option in Settings.
Check the help pages for more about it.

I always thought the sigs were only text? I hope they update it soon though......

they are only text, but i'd be using text. html
to view an image from my server such as

[img]ftp://xxx.xx.xx.x.filename.gif[/img]

attach the file and send the mail. the output of the mail will what u
asked.. that is the gif will act as an signature.. in ur mail.. just
