Gmail and SMTP Server other than Port 25

I was wondering if Gmail allows users to use it as an SMTP server with a port other than 25. I asked Google and still waiting for a reply from them.

I know there is a program for POP access for Gmail if that's what your talking about...........I put in one the topics in this forum.
