Aliases in gmail

pstrongspanspan style="font-weight: normal;"Just came across this PC World article on Gmail. Here is an interesting part:br/span/span/strong/ppbrstrongspan/span/strong/ppstrongspanFilter messages with custom addresses and aliases:/span/strong/p pAnother convenient Gmail feature is its ability to use aliases. You can filter your incoming mail by adding a plus sign (+) and any extra characters (no spaces) to your address. For example, when you register with the iFrostbite Falls Tribune/isite, submit an address similar to 'scott+tribune@gmail.com'. Or provide your boss with an address like 'scott+deadline@gmail.com'. Now, you can create filters that will label, star, archive (skipping theinbox), or forward only those incoming messages. And should the cash-starved folks at the iTribune/i sell your e-mail address to marketers, you can change your filter to redirect messages addressed to 'scott+tribune@gmail.com' to your Spam folder. (Note that 'scott@gmail.com' isn't a legitimate address because Gmail requires that user names have at least six characters.)/pbrAlso Gmail Preview bubbles (à la Google Maps): a href="http://persistent.info/archives/2005/08/20/gmail-preview-bubbles"span style="text-decoration: underline;"http://persistent.info/archives/2005...ubbles/span/aa href="http://persistent.info/archives/2005/08/20/gmail-preview-bubbles/"/abrbrp/pComplete article at: http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,12...ticle.htmlbrbr

mondine is an unknown quantity at this point
Yes, they've had that for a little while (I'm sure it's mentioned around here, somewhere),
but you don't hear it mentioned very often.

I know I keep forgetting it's there, which is too bad, because it's a very handy feature.
