Gmail account and port settings within Thunderbird
All of a sudden, I can no longer connect to my incoming gmail server from Thunderbird. My current settings are pop.gmail.com/port 110/secure No and smtp.gmail.com/port 465/secure SSL. To begin with, do these seem correct?brbrThanks in advance, brole kbr

Re: Gmail account and port settings within Thunderbird
Same issue with my Outlook Express .. all of a sudden I can not connect (after never having a connection problem over the past year).
[/quote] My problem seems to have been solved by going opening Gmail/Settings/Forwarding and POP/Configuration instructions. Make sure to set your gmail account in OE according to the port settings etc that you will find there. Hope this helps.Pregards,BROle K |
