click on reply and enter another name into the 'to' box. The person who has sent you the email should already be in there, you can just add another one. (type in a , and type the beginning of the name. When you type in a name it automaticly gives you options from your adress book.)

I entirely agree with dariokat - the lack of a facility to add addreses easily from a (possibly quite large) list is a major weakness of Google Mail at present.

May we hope that it will be addressed(!) as development continues?

you have people in your adressbook you don't know? How did you manage to get them in your adressbook if you don't know them?

But I think I understand what you mean. That's not possible. Gmail won't give a list to choose from if you reply to a message. You could always suggest it to them....

What might be an option for you is to make a group of people and at that group in the "to:" field. You will then see all the addresses and you're able to eliminate the ones you don't need. It's a work-around, not really a solution.

/ppYou might want to take a look whom you're talking to, before spitting your frustration. Besides, he did answer your question, it's not possible the way you descibe it. If you're a little more relaxed again, you might want to read my previous post to see if that works for you.br/p
