You can use the "Google Gmail Loader" for that. I didn't try it myself but a lot of people have done it this way. Read the instructions carefully!
Edit: Hmm.. I'm reading the instructions myself now, and the timestamp will NOT remain there.. Quote:

Gmail Loader
Thanks for the reply. I should've put more info in my original email. I found Gmail Loader on the web, but yeah, it has the caveat that timestamps are reset. Haven't found any other solution yet.
