Gmail via Thunderbird

I've downloaded THUBDERBIRD email client, and I've done everything properly in terms of settings (exactly like mentioned in the Gmail's help center). In addition - I enabled POP inside Gmail's settings. Now I can send and receive emails - BUT: Only received emails are kept in Gmail's original Inbox. Sent emails are not saved anywhere in Gmail! How can I overcome this problem? Thanks in advance!

Has anybody asked you to give marks about the WAY and COLOUR I used? The possibility of a RICH TEXT is available here, and this is not your business to comment about it!

I think that GMAIL has the best usability and all what we need in mail use.

I will try to answer your question the best I can.... I don't use Thunderbird anymore, but I don't remember having encountered that problem. You're sure that all of the settings are correct?
I'd try going to the Thunderbird FAQ first to see if that has the answer.
