Here is a reply from google when asking about gmail drive, dont know if anyone is interested

I got the same answer. While they didn't say not to use it, I would imagine they prefer we didn't. I know I won't.

same here, they dont want us using there email service just as storage, they would have provided free storage if they wanted that

its a program that creates a virtual hard drive on your computer, it then lets you store and download files on your gmail account, sort of like a network drive, but gmail is were your storing it

I suggest just emailing your self the files, just as easy, and less of a chance that you'll lose something.

I've installed the Gmail drive, Very handy..

But, I guess the rules for Gmail drive will be change somehow soon?

someone here has posted the email that they got from google concerning the drive. google really didnt have any comment. but i imagine soon that they will delete your account if you are using it. its a good way to back of part of your hard drive.

was gonna try it, but later i built my own website and store everything on my own site...more handy..haha

I don't imagine that Google can do much about everyone using and creating programs like the GMail Drive, I mean they did give out a heck of a lot of space. I say if the program works and keeps you from having to purchase an expensive external hard drive, then why not use it to the full advantage. Besides, who can possible fill up 1GB of space with just plain emails??? Anyone? lol, anyone that could do that would be able to earn like a million GC$.
