How to contact Gmail help desk

I have followed carefully all the relevant links in the help pages, including the one that says click here for a contact form but that just circles back to the main help screen. How do I report a fault to Gmail? I have been sending some emails which never arrived. Sending them a second time worked - but not the first time, eh?

I've been circling round the Google help system for a couple of day now - Lost in Space........

I am trying to find some way of asking a question which isn't listed in their suggested topics. There seems to be no default "if your question isn't in this list then write it here..." option. Is it ever possible to 'chat' with a live help person? I need to know if I am doing something silly to cause some of my sent mail to never arrive at it's destination - not all, but enough to be troublesome.

try going to the following page and click the "contact form" link in the 4th line:
http://mail.google.com/support/bin/a...081&topic=1536

fill out the contact form with every detail and wait for google's answer. usually their first reply is just a copy/paste from their FAQ.
read it carefully and if ou are not yet satisfied, reply to the mail and they will send you a "real" feedback.

I did exactly as you suggested, but that link takes me straight back to:

https://mail.google.com/support/

which is the page full of help topics - no form!!! Where did it go? I get the sense that I am being redirected away from the contact form......

thanks for trying to answer my question but I have been doing EXACTLY as you say, and others have said before, and as the 'contact form' link begins to load I get immediately redirected back to the main Google help page. There seems to be no way I can get near a contact form.
