Gmail's fast and loose with invites

Hi guys. Long time no see.

Just reporting that I opened a new Gmail account today. The first time I opened it, it had four invites in it.

I also notice that recently the place that shows invites moved.

Hi and welcome back, tnt .
Yes it has happened before. Gmail has moved it from the bottom-left to the top numerous times, and they did so again recently. Nothing special

Its possible two different employees are moving it everytime they notice its moved. It seems fine in both, but I was surprised when my one invite dissapeared from the left side and was looking in my send folder for a sent invite until I saw it was kinda happy cuz now it said "invite 9 people"! It also changed wording, to "Give 6 people Gmail" instead of "Invite 6 people to Gmail"

Okay. You don't donwload Gmail, so I'm not sure what you mean. I've never recieved an error saying 'Page error'. And there isn't such thing as Windows XL. Are you sure you're doing it correctly? To se gmail you have to first be invited and then log in at gmail.com. You shouldn't need to download anything.
