phishing scam and gmail

Hello,

Recently, I clicked the suspicious link while checking out the gmail.
Soon I logged on to my blogging website by clicking the suspicious link.
After a few seconds, I strongly feel as though it might be
a phishing scam. So I rushed into logging on to Gmail and changing
the password.
However, I was unable to log on to Gmail for the next 10 minutes.

(Later, I traced the email header and I think it might be just
an automated email.)

As far as I remember, the error message was

"Server Error. The server encountered a temporary error and
could not complete your request. Please try again in 30 seconds. "

Actually, I managed to log on to my Gmail account during the downtime
but...when I clicked the email, then the error message was showing agian.
I was fully able to take control of my gmail account after 10 minutes.

Based on above informations, do you guys think it is due to phishing scam
or a server error?

Thanks,
