POP Access not working for one account

Hi All

I have two email accounts (not @gmail ones) and have pointed the mx record from my host to googles.

One email address works fine, i can access it through thunderbird and send/receive ok. The other i cant, i can send but it wont receive. The only way i can get it to work is to set pop to download all, with that i get all the spam etc.

I have been through both accounts line by line and they match up in terms of settings.

I dont get an error message, thunderbird says that i have no new messages. By going into gmail itself i can see that i do.

What could cause this?

UPDATE: I can download emails it seems, but not all. Is there a rule as to what emails you can and cant download? e.g. from names/email addresses.

Example, i have a web form which emails enquiries from my web site. Its from address is formenquiry@mydomain.com and it emails myname@mydomain.com. This will not download into thunderbird.

Whereas ones from completely different emails addreses (friends, mailing lists etc) do download.
