What is gmail going to do now that yahoo is giving it's customers unlimited storage? I reckon gmail will do the same.
I also wonder if gmail will increase the maximum attachment size you can send form 10MB to a more bigger size like 100MB. |

I don't think that there's even a need for Google to "counter" yahoo's unlimited storage.
It's not much of a feature. Do we really need unlimited storage for emails right now? I don't think so. |

Why would you need an unlimited email space?
Any "normal" user hardly uses 100Mb.... Unless, you plan to send 700mb movies over mail ! Anyway, another set of attractions from Yahoo! - "Get unlimited mail space and a bunch of commercials with it in every corner of your screen...." Good luck! Google is not so stupid to do unlimited email space !!! |

I agree, Yahoo is desperate to defeat gmail... (email ads) what also notice about the new yahoo mail.. you can't delete thousands of spam mails at same time.. or maybe an auto delete.. |

2.8 GB of data and you still need unlimited space?
You can have 280 emails with a maximum size attachment of 10 MB - that's a rather large number. Also, Gmail has inserted long time ago a feature that could beat Yahoo's option no time: it's called the delete button! |

YOU may not need "unlimited", but I use my account for business and it's a lifesaver for finding old messages and threads that have saved me my a** any number of times.
Now my issue I need some of you to help me. I've currently 2,847 MB allocated and I'm using 2,746 MB (96%). Please don't tell me to start deleting. I'm deleting everything I can. What else can I do? Any way to move/save the messages to my hard drive? Please. |
