GMail: I rate 99/100

GMail, so far, has been a GREAT service for me! I really love it. I think that the only downside is the occasional laggggggg! When I first signed up, I was excited. I logged in, but then I had trouble for about an hour. I'm guessing that's just because it took about an hour for Google to set up all of the stuff.

It can be a little slow receiving e-mails, but sending is lightning fast!

Thanks,
Tom Joyce

yup... Gmail's got my vote for the best email service. I can forgive the occasional lags and loading time, but I am hoping that they'll be fixed up by the time it's released. It seems a bit unstable to be opened up to public tomorrow though, so... and I want a few more invites before they go all out. hehehe! :P

oh... I've never tried attaching files, so I didn't know that. I'll try attaching something later. by the way, Gmail's maximum file attachment is 10MB, right? is that per email (meaning for example you could have three attachments totalling only 10MB) or is it per attachment (meaning for example you could have three attachments each 10MB)?

Per email, I believe. You can send an unlimited number of emails, though

I agree with everything said! (tjoyce, you must of signed up in Marchpril when gmail was annouced, also sending is ligtning fasting and recieving is slow sometimes(when you expecting account activation email, etc.) Also, for the attachment thing, every (reply, send) in the email can be 10 MB ,me thinks, also, so you could have infiniate size email with up to 10 MB per reply!

Secondly,
Gmail is definately the best Email service on the Web!

No, I signed up about half a week ago. LOL. I just have some general e-mail knowledge, and I can tell right away about stuff like that. I sent test e-mails to other accts, and when I tried to reply, I thought they got lost. But I got them that night...strange...
