missing mails

Hello!

GMail is my favorite E-Mail program but now I've a question:
Some weeks ago I recieved a mail that was definitely sent three weeks before it appeared in my gmail-account, a few days later I recieved another one that was sent maybe 3 weeks before I got it ...
These two mails were sent from the same server so I thought, probably it was a problem of this E-Mail server ...
Now I just got a telefon call by a company
from a company that sent an E-Mail yesterday to my gmail-Adress but I didn't recieve it yet!! They just sent it again some minutes ago but it didn't show up yet. The adress is surely correct so I'm afraid now that there is a permanent problem with my GMail - account!!!

This is extremely serious for me because I'm applying for an internship at a whole bunch of companies and I wrote this gmail adress in my CV so I'm not sure if I got their mails!!!!

Has anybody an idea - is it possible that mails are not sent or not recieved???

I had another problem some days ago: I tried to reply a mail from an adress that I've already written several mails to (and always recieved responses - it's no no-reply adress) and it gave me several faillure messages when it tried to send it (Mailer-Demon etc.). Could this have anything to do with my other problem?

If you failed to send a mail to someone, It probably means that their INBOX if full and can't accept more letters. They should clean up to make more space.

As to your delay problem, you should contact Google, I guess, I've never had such problem, It's hard to tell ....

or maybe gmail is updating... besides it still on beta, their still fixing some bugs..

me to i also encounter that mail problem. the scenario is this i fill up an application for a new job and the employer reply asap but the mail is delayed so i loose that job.
