gmail as default mail
Would like to know how to make gmail my default - specifically, when on a web page I click 'send link' I want it to go to gmail,new mail. It does nothing. I have gmail notifier.

Hmm,
I have never had such need, but try looking in Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Programms. There is a E-Mail program assigned to handle Send Link requests. Look if there is an option to choose Gmail !?! Although I doubt it, but that's the only clue I have right now. |

google toolbar
use the google toolbar
with it you can associate mailto: with gmail http://www.google.com/tools/firefox/.../en/index.html you can minimise the toolbar so that it isnt as annoyingly large |
