can't see senders addy

I used to be able to place my cursor over the senders name and see what their address was before I opened the email. now I can't do it and I really want that option back. I don't know if it's a coincidence or not but the other day a message came up on my gmail to empty my cashe (?) and I said yes and then later I noticed I can't see the addresses showing up anymore.

did you use opera?
firefox 2.+ is flexable for gmail.

No. I have IE. I never had this problem until very recently.

i think,
IE have so many problems and v.7 not ready at the moment,for our users.
you should be use firefox and his add-ons.
you will pleasure for more.
