Disable auto-filling login fields?
I know that this is not a really a gmail issue but want to get rid of the "easy fill" fields on the login page - I don't people to know my userID and it always shows up when i type the first letter of my login.
Can any tell me how to turn this feature off? I am on XP. Thanks for any help! BestNurse |

You must be talking about Inline Autocomplete...You can disable it in the "options" menu in both Firefox and IE.
For IE6, click on Tools, and then click on Internet options. Click on the advanced tab and uncheck Auto-Complete[or whatever it says...] Try the following on Firefox: Tools> Options> Advanced> Acessibility and Tick OFF the "Find as you type"...I'm using Firefox 0.9.3, so I wouldn't know anything about Firefox 1.0 which is the most buggy release... |
