Why Language dictates some functions ?

Hi,

I have 2 gmails. One gmail, I set language in "English (UK)" and another set in "English (US)".

In the "English (US)", I have the Red letters "New ! Bigger attachments" announcement on the top left hand corner.

While on the "English (UK)", there is no such announcement and one cannot benefit from the new features.

Similarly, in the "English (US)" one could activate and de-activate "Vacation Responder" which the other "English (UK)" do not have this function ????

Once, I have set it on "English (US)" and activated the "Vacation Responder". Upon returning, I change language to "English (UK)" and found that I could on swift "off" the Vacation-Responder as the icon for this function do not appear in the "English (UK)" function. It takes me months that someone from this Forum to remind me to switch it back to "English (US)" to swiff-off then.

Does that means, other languages like Chinese, Arabic etc. do not have the previlege to enjoy this new bigger attachment files with 20 MB ?????

What is the reason for it ??????????????????????????

maybe depends on the countries policy on gmail accounts.
