Please help - POP

On my new laptop I installed a mail client (imported all the oldmail I wanted) and wanted to get my mail from the gmail inbox.
I activated Pop for all messages since last Pop-session. The first try something went wrong and now I have a problem.

Gmail acknowledged my try as a Pop-session and now I can not download the messages in my inbox sincethey are from before that failed Pop session.

I can downlad all messages from when I started with Gmail, but that is too much.

Is there a way to download just the content of my inbox?
