Servers?

I sent an invite to a friend of mine and he gets this message.

Quote:
Server Error

Gmail is temporarily unavailable. Cross your fingers and try again in a few minutes. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
Has anyone else heard of this?

Hmm, that's really weird. I never heard of that happening before.

Maybe they're trying to stop so many people from registering all at the same time.

Hmm, maybe it's his computer. I don't know of anyone this has happened to yet.

This happened to me once or twice. I can't remember what I was doing though. After a little bit it fixed it self. I'm assuming the same has happened for your friend. If it hasn't, have him clear all his temp internet files (cookies and all) and try again...

That happened to me too before when I was getting my first account with Gmail. Do you know what internet browser is he using? The thing about cookies is true, he should clear out his cookies and maybe restart his pc. It got fixed when I tried the next day. Otherwise, it's probably Gmail's own server problems, so just try it again some other time.
