Sending Attachments

When I send a JPEG attachment, the document which is attached to my outgoing message is in some unidentifiable format - not JPEG.
I have tried sending a JPEG attachment by gmail to my other e-mail account and found that I can't open it although the original opens readily with Photoshop.
What's going on?
I am using a Firefox v2.0.0.6 browser.

may be when sending time is interrupt.
i have not any problems with attachments.

You don’t indicate which browser you are using. Are you using a Mac, Windows or Linux operating system?

it is easy to down load attachment in google community its like editing your sig
