GMail\Outlook 2003 Issue...

All,

I have noticed this wierd issue with Gmail via POP\SMTP access in Outlook 2003. Every now and then, my users who are using Outlook 2003 and accessing their GMail account; are getting messages stuck in the Outlook Outbox. You can hit Send\Recieve continuously, but the messages won't go anywhere.

Here's the wierd workaround I have discovered. If you close Outlook, login into GMail via the web, then go back and open Outlook, hit Send\Receive and wholla...the messages start sending again.

Has anyone experienced this issue at all? Anyone have any idea what is causing this or a fix? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I've never tried anything with outlook but you can try thunderbird.
Thunderbird - Reclaim your inbox
and it works well with gmail for me.

hope my 2 cents can help.
