Gmail Going Public?

According to various news sources, Gmail will be going public on April 1, 2005. What do you guys think?

It's going to be public starting April 1st. The link previously provided was a secret link that shows up on the Google page every 1 in 100 hits, or something like that.

They're going live April 1st. Check near the bottom of Google's History page, you'll see they already updated their history up to April 1st.

So tommorow is the D-day.. So we will see if all these predictions comes true or not!

So What say guys will it go public tomorrow or not.
I put my stakes -->it will no go public!

I think it will. Gmail beta was released exactly one year ago, April 1, 2004.

The year 2004 brought new services, including Local Search for those times when all a person needs is a neighborhood place close enough to deliver cannolis that are still cool or a tire shop that's within walking distance.
