Hide "Send Mail On Behalf Of" Message

Is there any way within Gmail (or even MS Outlook) that anyone knows of to disable showing the message "mail sent on behalf of" from email messages?

I handle currently 4 different email addresses through my one gmail account. And I always choose to send from each account that the email was sent to when replying. But Gmail always adds in "from:<main account> on behalf of <emailed account>" or something like that.

Is there any setting that I can change in Gmail to turn that off?

Thanks for any advice.

Did you add more than one SMTP server? I'm not sure, but my guess would be that you get that message when you send a message from bob@gmail.com while logging into the SMTP server using john@gmail.com.
