Google accounts locked up!! help!!!!

These are some reason when your gmail account can be locked without any prior information.

1. Receiving, deleting, or downloading large amounts of mail via POP or IMAP in a short period of time.
2. Sending a large number of undeliverable messages (messages that bounce back).
3. Using file-sharing or file-storage software, browser extensions, or third party software that automatically logs in to your account.
4. Leaving multiple instances of your Gmail account open.
5. Browser-related issues. Please note that if you find your browser continually reloading while attempting to access your Inbox, it's probably a browser issue, and it may be necessary to clear your browser's cache and cookies.

Inform the google admin may be you will be helped.

hi folks..
My google account is back in action..
I received a mail from support team asking for few details about 6 days back. I have provided as much details I can and this morning got a mail from them with instructions about how to reset the password and getting it active.
I am so relieved now cos I got so much of critical data back.
I think it was due to some phishing bot.. not sure what it is....
my orkut friends received many funny messages from my orkut account..
anyway I thank everyone here who helped by advices and information.

google groups was helped this problems.
accouts locked out.

P/S if you are fix for that..,let's me know

My gmail acct gets disabled every so often, and then reinstated after about 10 minutes. I never understood why. Thanks for explaining this. Now I know.
