Gmail isn't all most people think they are. I am locked out of my account and they don't even give an explanation other than they detect something suspicious in your account. If you were waiting, as I was, for a trip confirmation to Europe you would realize how unreliable and sorry that gmail can be. I will never use gmail again, so it's back to yahoo for me. They can keep their unreliable service. If you don't believe me do a google sear for "google lock down" and you will see they are doing it to tons of people.

I don't know about you guys, but I left all the Viagra spam in my Hotmail account when I moved over. Frankly, I'm not going to miss it.

I have McAfee Spamkiller, which eliminates all of my spam. I would rather have the spam killer from McAfee and get my e-mails rather than be locked out of my account, ecspecially while awaiting something as important as a trip conformation for my trip abroad.

apparently you must have done something to get locked out of your account.

I have used gmail for a long time and have never had any problems with it...remember it is still in beta, therefore they may still have a few problems here and there.

Gmail is great. its the one & only Quality mail provider, i would sat. it work perfectly for me though.

you have a limit of 500 outgoing messages a day, ofcourse you can open more accounts

i am tired of everyone complaining about gmail. frankly, it is still in beta, so you should have read the Terms of Service agreement before you signed up. it has flaws, nothing is perfect. that doesnt mean that you should hate it because of a few rare flaws. and that locked out of the account problem, it never lasts that long, and if you tell google about they can reopen it for you. SORRY FOR THE LONG POST.......
