Importing Contacts

I'm trying to import new contacts via a CSV file as recommended by Google. When doing so, the the format is 'unrecognizable', per Google.

I generated the CSV using Excel, then again using Outlook [Google recommendation]. But both are unrecognizable when I submit the file.

I work with data files quite often and this should be simple, but it's becoming a pain!

you can get this answer there..how_do_i_export_my_gmail_contacts

I imported my contact w/o any problem...might be a browser problem?
