Problem with Contact List (when using new AIM feature)

Hello all, first time posting on here.

I was wondering if any of you had the same issue as me..

When I signed on AIM through gchat in gmail, it imported all of my AIM contacts into my quick contact list (expected).

I went through every one and selected "Never Show" for all the ones I didnt want to see in my contact list.

The ones I select go away for a short period of time, but I when I open up a new browser they all come back...like I never did anything.

I hope that makes sense.
