1.How to Delete Your Yahoo! Mail Account
* Visit the Terminating Your Yahoo! Account page. * Type your password. * Click Terminate this Account. 2.Forward Yahoo! Mail to Another Email Address * Select Mail Options from the Yahoo! Mail navigation bar. * Follow the link called POP Access & Forwarding. * Make sure Forwarding is selected. * Enter the email address where you want to receive all your Yahoo! Mail messages. * Eventually click Submit to put your new settings into effect. 3.How to Insert an Image in Your Yahoo! Mail Signature Open the image you want to insert in Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. * The image must be on a web server...etc.. * its address must start with "http://". You cannot use an image that resides only on your hard disk. * If your image is larger than some 100x100 pixels, consider shrinking it to more handy proportions before you put it online. * To open an image that appears as part of a web page: IE -Click on the image with the right mouse button. -Select Properties from the menu. -Highlight the entire string under Address: (URL. -Press Ctrl-C. -Click OK. -Highlight the address bar. -Click Ctrl-V. -Press Enter. Mail Classic Account From the Keyboard * press Ctrl-Shift-C from anywhere in Yahoo! Mail Classic, Calendar, Notepad or the address book. 9.How to Recover a Forgotten Yahoo! Mail Password * Go to Yahoo! Help page. * Enter your details and you can get a new password. 10.How to Block a Sender in Yahoo! Mail In new * Select Options | Mail Options... in Yahoo! Mail. * Go to the Spam category. * Type the unwanted email address under Add a blocked address:. * Click Add. * Now click Save Changes. In classic * Follow the Mail Options link in the top navigation bar. * Select Block Addresses, which you can find under Management. * Enter the email address you want to be blocked under Add Block. * Select Add Block. * Select Yes to set the block. 11.Export Your Yahoo! Mail Address Book * In newYahoo! Mail: 1. Select Options | Mail Options... from the Yahoo! Mail menu. 2. Go Contact Options category. * In Yahoo! Mail Classic: 1.Go to Options. 2.Go to the Address Book category. * Select Import/Export under Management. * Look for Yahoo! CSV under Export and click Export Now. * Click Save when prompted what to do with the file download. * Choose the location where you want to save the Yahoo.csv copy of your Yahoo! Mail address book. 12.Set Up Your Yahoo! Mail in new: * Select Options | Mail Options in Yahoo! Mail (near the top right corner of your Yahoo! Mail screen) * Go to the Signature category. * Make sure Show a signature on all outgoing messages is selected. * Enter the desired email signature. * Click Save Changes. In classic * Select Mail Options from the Yahoo! Mail navigation bar * Follow the Signature link (under Personalization). * Enter the desired signature in the text field. * Click Save. 13.How to Delete a Folder in Yahoo! Mail In new: * Open the folder you want to delete. * Move messages to other folders or delete them until the folder is empty. * Click on the folder in the folder list with the right mouse button. * Select Delete from the menu. * Click OK. In Classic: * Make sure the folder you want to delete does not contain any Messages. Move or delete remaining emails. * Click on the down arrow of the Mail tab in Yahoo! Mail. * Select Folders from the drop-down menu.hit Ctrl-Shift-F. * Click Delete next to the folder you want to delete.The Inbox, Draft, Sent, Bulk and Trash folders cannot be deleted. 14.Instant Address Book Add - Drag a message onto the Contacts link and you'll see the icon change to a plus sign which means you can add that contact to your address book in one easy step. 15.Navigate your inbox the quick way - Ctrl + Shift + Up Arrow or Down Arrow let you jump to messages in the same folder that have the same subject line. You can hit Ctrl + Shift + Alt + Up Arrow lets you choose another factor to filter on (such as flag) when using Ctrl + Shift to navigate. 15.Easter Egg When composing a message just hit the Subject: button to cycle through a collection of random (often humorous) subject lines. A lot of real gems in here including: -The brain has been polished professor. -All your platypus are belong to us. -I believe those were mouse droppings. -The twins just turned 2 and 4 this month! -How about never? Is never good for you? -Care for a foam apple? 16.Organize Your inbox via Message Finder - Now it is as easy as typing in a search, ordering the results by Contact, Location, or Subject, selecting the messages, and dragging them to a new folder. Sounds complicated? It isn't, just do a search and then start dragging and dropping messages. 17.Select Multiple Messages - Hold shift after selecting a message to select multiple messages. Hold Ctrl to add specific messages to the list. Hit Crtl-A to select all messages in a folder or search results. This is a great way to select everything in your inbox and move it to an archive folder. 18. Read Messages Now - Go to Options link in the upper right hand corner and then select Mail Options. Find the item labeled mark messages as read and select immediately. This way when you scroll through messages you no longer have to pause one each one to have it marked as read. 19.Hide/Show Viewing Pane - Just hit the letter V on your keyboard to have more space to organize your folder. Hit V again to reopen the message preview. 20.Quick Compose - Type the letter N to start a new message or R to reply to a selected message. 21.Find text within a message9. Trick: Find Text within your message - Hit Crtl + F after selecting a message to find text within a that message. Hitting the enter key lets your scroll through each instance of the word within the message. 22.Scroll through folder without reading - Holding Crtl lets you scroll through a folder messages using the arrow keys without selecting each individual message. 23.Send Message Now - By using the Crtl + Enter Key you can send a message you are composing instantly. No more hunting for the send button. 24.extra email address today by using a simple firstname.lastname@yahoo.com. Now you can have a second Yahoo! email address to use just like your first.
