do anyone can figure how to screen and label 'the rest' ?

in using up the filer tool, can somebody find a way to label all the rest emails (that are not labeled by existing filters) to a specific label (like 'the rest')?

you can use by 2ways...
1.if you have 5 lables.."family, friends, sex, love, business"
type and search...

Code:

-label:inbox -label:family -label:friends -label:sex -label:love -label:business

"this is minus sign function.."
2.use Addons..
-install Grease Monkey ..
-register "http://userscripts.org".
-search and install "gmailUnlabelled".,now version 2.0 arrived.
-you will see the below images.

thanks U.cat but it doesnt work for me. after trying the label: operator then comes an error response and screening doesnt give results. ;(

how did you see "error messages" ?

see please the attached picture. after continuing to creat filter it just picked all mails in my count...
