I didnt even know that google did email can you find it from their main website???

Actually, http://www.gmail.com works just fine to get there.

If you ever feel like looking at everything Google works on, you should explore their "About Google" link.

But you can't register just like that. You need to get an invite from somebody who's got a gmail address. So if you have friends that has gmail just ask them, or give me your email so I can send you one.
