How to empty more than 50 trash message at a time?

I have like 50% of my gmail filled with trash messages. It's a pain to empty 50 at a time. Doesn't Gmail have a button to just EMPTY ALL?

Hi Geeky
I think we can delete 100 messages at a time. I dont think its customisable to show more than 100 messages at a time as of now.I think you can also leave the trash messages they will be deleted automatically after 30 days and in Gmail space is not a constraint..

I know, but my trash gets piled up faster than Gmail can remove them in 30 days.

Hmm, I can't seem to find any trash options in the settings menu.

If you go to the Trash bin in Gmail, click Select All (right above the list of e-mails), and then click the Delete Forever button. The same thing can apply to the Spam folder.

You are talking about e-mails that have already been sent to Trash right?

That works, but currently I've got almost 11,000 trash messages in my trash, and if I click "select all" and "delete forever" its going to only select the current 100 messages displayed and not the 11,000. I've to do this 110 times to completely empty my trash.

Yes that's currently the only way.

"You are currently using 500 MB (23%) of your 2165 MB."

I usually just leave the Spam/Trash there - it doesn't hurt
