I ended up here because I've been interested in a gmail account for some time but haven't had the time to explore the options. I've 'introduced' myself, please read.

Now I'm here I see that most are requesting a orkut account. I'll have to do some research into that.
Excuse my question but many seem to publish their email here, is this not fodder for email harvesters? I've had the same IP address for 14 years, imagine the spam! Actually I'm able to filter about 99% of it.

I do want a Gmail account please I like what I've seen so far and want to play too.

Fourteen...years? Are you sure that you have not made a typo? The internet was first opened to the public in 1994 so that's about eleven years ago from today.
It is highly unlikely...unless ofcourse you were involved with the US army's confidentially secluded 'ARPAnet' project.

Not a typo, but not enought thought went into it. Opened an account some time after arriving in Hong Kong in 1991. I've been here 14 years and just associated the account with that. Sorry, found out
Two days ago I cleaned the filing cabinet and the origional sign up document was there but I've thrown it now. There was one ISP in HK when I got the email however can't pinpoint the date. First couple of years moved around a lot so 1994/95 would be about right.

You put an end quote tag where there should be a begin quote tag. Remove the slash from the first tag and it will be correct.
