Google/Gmail for filesystem support

I started a petition for google support for a network filesystem type service. I will plug it(sorry for the spam), but I think you guys might enjoy the idea. Most of the comments I got about it involved,"Google couldn't make money from it?" and "How can google secure a network filesystem of this scale".

My response. Google probably stores a good percentage of the entire internet. They can house Johnny's essay collection just as they have done with gmail. I think the only difference between what I am proposing and gmail. I think google might have to support special desktop software. What is all? I wouldn't even mind using the opensource filesystem tools that are out there now, but I think the google could ensure high quality.

Check out the petition. It may not be worthy of you.
