Sorry, your account has been disabled!

Hello everyone,

I tried to login to my gmail today and i get this: Sorry, your account has been disabled

How can i fix this, i really need my email address as it is extreamly important.

Is there anyone i can email?

/is it possible for someone to have hacked my account and closed it?

My mails are all important. Maybe the reason why your account
was disabled because you visit it quite often..

I visit my Gmail account every 5 minutes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I use IMAP and I always have at least one copy of Thunderbird running to check mail. I don't think you can access it too often, assuming you don't have a bunch of bad password entry attempts.

My account has been disabled too...

Just want to add my situation on here also. I tried to log on to my gmail today and got the same message as above. I think itīs because someone has hacked into my account and been sending spam from there. Fair enough, they need to something about this, but to just close my account with warning is ridicuclous. And to make matters worse is their customer care unit. Iīve emailed once and got an automated message. Then followed their instructions and went through this section: Google and got what seems to be another automated response saying I theyīre not going to give me access and I should just set up another account! I really canīt believe this. I have contacts on there that I only speak to by email, if I donīt get this back Iīll never be able to contact them again. Also, 5 years of data, pictures, documents, and emails.

So, basically, HELP!

Aside from telling you to guard your email password better, always use a desktop client to download your messages for backup, or at the very least create a second Gmail account and forward a copy of all of your messages there and to never keep any part of your life strictly on the Internet I'm afraid that not many people here will be able to help.

Keep going at Google. If you can prove the account is yours, keep trying to get it back. Also, if you don't try to sign in at all for 24 or 48 hours that might work for you as well. I have never had an account disabled but I have heard from a few that have if you wait the account can be enabled again.

You have some idea that someone hacked your account and was sending spam with it. That leads me to think that perhaps you know why this happened. Don't let that happen again.
