Deleting spam folder items

Google does this every 30 days automatically but I'd like it cleared everyday. I'm the default box for my domain name G-mail so I get dumped on with 5000+ spam a day. The problem is when I have to look for mail that might have gone to spam in error. There is no way to sort by subject, sender, etc so I have to eyeball every one. The shear volume if i miss a day makes checking it almost impossible. Anyway, back to the question; is there a way to automatically delete spam everyday rather than the default 30days

As far as deleting daily...

...I just conceded and made a habit of clicking over to the spam folder and going through the "Delete all spam now" once a day, trusting soul that I am.

(I get 250 a day, groan. And it's been 5 years since I last had my email address on my business website... once published, once lost.)

i do that too. i check my spam folder almost as often as i check my inbox. but i never noticed google marking any mail as spam, when it is not spam. so i actually feel safe even if i dont check my spam folder once in a while.

It's a good habbit that you delete your spam. Spam files can occupy space on your hard drive and you may run out of space if you don't delete this file.

yes, that is true. but, only if you use an email client like outlook and download all your mails. if you are using only the browser to check your mails, then, you should not worry about space, since most of the providers give a lot of space these days. and they also empty your spam folder once a month or so.
