Merging Two GMail Accounts

Can two GMail accounts be merged into one. Or, put another way, can the mail from one account be copied over to another?

I dont know about merging them but I do know you can add accounts. This should work just as well because at the top of each email your composing you can pick which email address you want to send from. So basically you enter one account which houses multiple ones. You can view all the emails and send emails from any email address in your accounts.

Go to your gmail account.
At the upper right hand corner there is a settings link. Click that.
At the settings tab click the accounts link.
From here you can add accounts.
You are not limited to entering gmail accounts either, you can add any email account.

I wasn't clear.

I wish to merge Inbox and Sent Mail folders from two accounts.

I know how to merge two accounts going forward.a What I don't know is how to merge the Inbox and Sent Mail folders from the past.

Well your inbox and outbox will merge all the emails together. There will be a little note by each subject line indicating which email was used for that particular email.

I guess you have to be more tutorial about what you are suggesting. My understanding of it has nothing to do with email which has been received/sent prior to the "merge".

Yes, it can. You will need to use a desktop client, enable IMAP and have the desktop email client download of all of your mail. Check in the help for the client that you chose on how to make all mail available offline.

Once the mail that you want to move is downloaded, go to all mail, select all and drag and drop all of it on all mail in the account you are moving to.

I added Two accounts, but I don't receive any emails from this accounts on my Inbox.. I have no idea what I am doing wrong
