Junk Mail...

I am a gmail user for a long time(since it was started) and had been always happy about it. But, now, I am under tremendous pressure to post this. I am receiving junk mails with chinese subject/body(I dont know chinese BTW, and they might be some other language too, it looks like chinese).
Because of this, my gmail notifier is very very busy. I have reported this as a spam and this keeps on coming almost one in every 10 mins, this is totally frustrating me. What can I do about this? Any help would be appreciated.

This happens to me, too, and probably to a lot of Gmail users, though not every ten minutes. Gmail almost always marks these messages as spam automatically, though, so they don't show up in my inbox.

I also got one of this.. IN the begining i never used to get span in my inbox in gmail but now poeple have started fooling Gmail also. I generally get mails like you have won 10 million dollars etc And today one was hilarious. Some princess of COngo wanted me to handle her 25 Million dollars.. lol Well in my opionion Gmail cannot filter these messages at first and its not always possible for them to check if this kind of personal mail is spam or not. They cant take a risk. So if i generally mark a mail as spam that kind of mail i never recive in my INBOX so instead of deleting the mails just mark them as spam. I hope that will help
