Transfer email from one Gmail account to another.

Hi!

First time here, great forum!!1

I have 2 gmail account. Is it possible to transfer all my existing email from one account to the other>?

Yes, but the dates will not be correct (they will be dated the time that you transferred them). There are programs available that can do this. They use the POP access feature of Gmail to download all email from one account, and then send it to your other account.

are you sure about the dates? I mean i saw an app that the creator had screenshots of his gmail inbox having mail from 1998.

I tried to POP my gmail inbox but although that "All Mail" states 600 email, the POP client finds only 400 (months after i enabled POP access for gmail). Why is that?

here is a photo from a programma that the author claims that it can upload your messages with original date.



The programm is called Google GMail Loader. Anyone tried that?

And also, does anyone know why my pop client downloads only 390 mail and "all mail" label states arround 600 emails?

I was actually in the same situation myself (although I switched from Gmail to Google Apps). Anyhow, I found this really convenient service. Worked great, and you don't need to waste your own bandwidth.
