Simply cannot get my browser to remember my login

this applies for the google.com/ig personalized homepage

i am constantly having to login, despite having logged in in the past. it's so fucking random i can't begin to describe it

i check the cookies, and they're still there and intact, even after deleting them and re-logging in the same problem happens.

almost every time after I restart i have to re-login

sometimes randomly after closing all my browsers (applies to firefox and MSIE strangely) when i open one again it forces me to manually re-type my login info

help?

does anyone know what the fuck the issue is with this?

i just signed on again today after being away from the computer for about 4 days. i clicked the 'stay logged in for 2 weeks' tick mark every single time.

yet again, it asks me to re-login.

any help?

this has nothing to do with deleting cookies or logging out.

i am having the same problem, never delete cookies, and certainly am not stupid enough to log out when im trying to stay logged in.

on the same day, from seconds to minutes to hours apart, sometimes even without ever closing all my IE windows, when my google.com/ig homepage loads it re-prompts me for login. there's obviously a persistancy issue going on, it's not user error.

i'm pretty sure someone trying to stay logged in isn't stupid enough to click logout or delete their cookies, but i'm sure he appreciates the condescension.

Heh, there's your problem, you're not using Firefox

It happens to me every once in a while, but not as often as you described bigillz.

i gave up. i just put the login form data on a page with a javascript submit, tossed it on my local webserver and set that as my homepage.

crap wouldnt stay logged in 5 minutes, or even sometimes in the same browser session without closing the window (thought it may be related to having "open browser windows in new process")

oh well, fixed, albeit kludge-style
