3-Level E-mailing: Become Spam Free
Did anyone try or heard of this service called Walla.com?
I pretty much don't like companies who imitate others and try to compete in such a way. It seems offensive to me. I mean, if other companies want to compete, why not add another feature or advantage instead of just imitating others? As soon as Gmail went popular, I heard of this Walla.com It was 1 Gigabyte when Gmail already exceeded that, but now it's 3 Gigabytes. But I didn't let the Walla.com down you know. I registered an e-mail address there to fill it with all the spam in the world. So now I have three-level e-mails: Gmail Account: For all very intimate friends who don't send FWD messages. Yahoo Account: For good forums, and FWD kind of friends [because many e-mail addresses are logged by spammers from this somehow naive habit]. Walla Account: For all the spam in the world, including all free-services on the Internet which require e-mail activation. So what do you think about this idea? I have the Gmail notifier installed (very low memory usage), and the Yahoo Messenger is the IM program of my choice, so it acts as a notifier for Yahoo e-mails, and I never open the Walla account unless I need to register a new service. It works for me, and I am always spam free |

I have walla and I haven’t checked it in months, just checked it now and I still have no emails in it!
I use a similar idea to yours by the way.

Hotmail: I use for friends, forums and newsletters. Gmail: Very good friends, business and online shopping. Terra: Is my email from my old ISP, I'm moving important services away from it and it may become my test email and a spam box.

I registered a spam-account with Walla. It isn't much of a service (I have learned to read the 'Privacy Policy' for anything that I use online) as it is a cash-machine for developers who hope to get rich with advertising tie-ins. The features and layout aren't even on the same page as Gmail.
The Gmail spam filtering does work incredibly well, sometimes too well. I use an old yahoo account to field most of my sign-ups and questionable 'free' services--the Bulk folder currently has 150+ unread messages. |
