My Gmail is terribly slow - Page 2

Gmail is the fastest email account I know. Ironically, my gmail account is getting failure connection lately since Feb 2009. Even using different service provider, I was getting similar problem. Perhaps, Mr. Google has something to give us the courtesy to let us know. Don't you?

Gmail could be slow in loading if the internet connection is slow that when its gives the option of using HTML mode.

My gmail has been very slow also, although it runs just fine on Chrome or older versions of IE (IE6). Seems like an unlikely coincidence that gmail started running extremely slow around the same time google started advertising the "Chrome" browser. Even more so that the advertisements say how much faster gmail will run on Chrome. It would seem to the average person that Google has placed some code in gmail to make it run slow on IE 7 and 8 so that people would start using Chrome.

I believe I, like many other, will be moving to a different email if this isn't corrected soon.

One browser runs 50 times faster than the other and it's the internet connection? What planet do you live on? Planet Chrome I assume?
