spam filtering -- delay?
I am using a Gmail account as a "spam filtering" service for a group of people, by setting up forwarding rules. The forwarding is working, however, spam is still getting through. When I login to the gmail account that does the forwarding, I see that all the spam is in the Spam box so it should not have been forwarded.
What I think is hapenning is that at the time the forwarding occurs, Gmail has not yet learned that the message is spam. At some later time, Gmail has gotten enough feedback from users that it figures out that it is spam and moves it from the Inbox to Spam. But by that time the forwarding has already ocurred. Is there any way to get Gmail to hold on to messages for a while before forwarding? |
