HELP !!! My Gmail account has a lot of problems

Hi to all. I really need your help!

First of all, suddenly, all my emails in my INBOX folder and my SENT folder have disappeared.

Second, most of my contacts are receiving mails from my account, which I did not send. These mails seem to be some kind of advertising in a strange language.

Third, there are times when I simply can't use my account.

I have tried changing my password, but it is very strange because, after changing it, the only way to use my account was by using my old password !!!???

Please help me....Am I the only one having these problems.

It sounds to me although someone has hijacked the account - change the password to something random (but that you will remember) and also remember to change your secret question & answer, again to something tricky for somebody else to guess.

If that doesn't resolve it, try emailing Google Abuse or technical support.

Yeah i agree with Adams answer i think someone has hi jacked ur account and are using it to spam people.

Myself I would e-mail google and see what they say and also as Adam said change you password and seret question to something thats not in a standard dictionary in case someone accessed you account with a bot using a brute force attack!
