Which quite frankly is a waste of time.

Well I haven't had any problems for 24 hours, so touch wood, they've sorted the problem, but I'm not the only one who has had these error messages.

Well, I quite agree with you on the fact that the reply from the GMail Team was really nothing but a waste of time, umm... er... veryfrustated.
And as you haven't had any problems for the last twenty-four hours, I suppose you mean to say that you can log in to your GMail account?

P.S. Even if my question does seem stupid to you, please reply.

Yeah, so far so good, last 36 hours or so I haven't had any problems and I have been able to logon and more importantly once logged on I have been able to access my mail (which wasn't the case previously). You cannot imagine how annoying it is to either not being able to logon or being able to logon and see you have new mail, but having a "whoops the server is busy" message come up when you try access the mail.

For anyone who was offended by my previous postings please accept my apologies, as my username implies I was very frustrated at not being able to access my mail properly for over 10 days which was compounded by the fact that I could not contact any form of support. I hope someone from Google reads this forum and realises how poor their service has been recently. I can understand that it's a beta version and that glitches can occur, until recently I've happily been using gmail for about a year and lived with any of the minor glitches I've come across. But not being able to access mail over 10 days is not acceptable.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear it's been working. Hopefully, that means they were just doing some tinkering that's over with, now.

If you haven't yet, though, I still suggest that you enable POP3 access, with the option chosen to leave mail on the server. That way, you can log in normally, and still have a different way to try to access your account (that won't affect your mail store), should you run into this frustrating problem again.

Well, ya how do you think they get rid of the spam sent to support, sending it using the form gives them more information about your issue.
