Thats the SMTP server that saves no information (or shouldn't be according to the privacy statement) but its not the pop3 server. I'm sure if you ping or tracert gmail.google.com you'll get a number, (tracert doesn't go all the way, it gets stuck around Google's area) but it won't be one that if you exploit in some way you'll get any info. You may get the version or brand of the router, but i doubt they leave any holes open.
They're hiring about 10 ppl a day, I think they'd hire a few SysSecs. |

And you just said the opposite of what you just said. The blocking ISP just needs the IP address of the sending server not the local IP address of one of the worker's computers.
