Message forwarding filter
Hi, I need help with msg forwarding in gmail.
I have a client who uses Outlook as his mail client. When he sends his email to my gmail account (johndoe@gmail.com), he receives a notification that his email was delivered to recipient johndoe@gmail.com. This makes sense so far. But i have set up a filter in gmail to forward his emails to my other account myrealname@yahoo.com So now when he sends his emails to johndoe@gmail.com gmail automatically forwards them to my myrealname@yahoo.com account. PROBLEM: my client receives an email saying that his email was delivered to recipient myrealname@yahoo.com instead of saying that his email was delivered to recipient johndoe@gmail.com Why does this happen? Can I tell my gmail account to not forward that information back to my client? Thank you |
