Its no more overrated then people make it out to be. One could say, "Gmail is better then all the others." and your alwasy gonna get someone out there argue with that.

I love Gmail. You might like Chevy. We all might hate AMD and Love Intel. Its an accumilation of the "Spirit of the whole community." Almost a "Zeitgeist"

I like Gmail for 3 reasons.
1. It's FAST
2. You can SEARCH
3. Filters and labels
I don't know any other email provider that has all of these.
